Our Impact
Since June 2022, Sikhona Rescue Centre has ...
-
Rescued, rehabilitated, and reintegrated 51 survivors of gender-based violence - 18 women and 33 children. Including 4 babies born in our care!
-
Counseled, educated, and employed over 60 marginalized and at-risk women on our sustainable teaching farm.
-
Coached and mentored over 20 teenage boys coached on positive masculinity through sport.
-
Informed and inspired over 400 local men, women, and children on the prevalence and consequences of gender-based violence in Kenya.
But frankly? Our graduates tell it best.
